This week I will let your imagination take flight. I am puzzled by their offerings. This is a take out place in my town. I have never been inside.
Next door is a Chinese restaurant called the Seasoned Wok. I was waiting for my take out when I noticed the advertising in this window.

Sometimes it is not how the window looks, but what you find when you look at what decorates the window. The children standing in this window are my grandchildren, waiting for our plane to land.
It is a tradition in Denmark to wave the national flag as a greeting when a visitor arrives.

I am a day late for A Window for Wednesday. I have a valid excuse as I arrived back from Iceland on Tuesday and spent yesterday severely jet lagged.
This week I have chosen yet another window...actually a whole building made of windows The Harp or Harpa in Icelandic, a Concert Hall and Conference Center.
With all these windows and the sea breeze, there is a need for a crew of people to wash the windows every working day of the week.
Here is a view from the inside.
I love the dappled light that falls on the diners at the restaurant called the Munnharpa (Mouthharp) A nice place to sit and have an open face sandwich and a cup of coffee.

Today's window is not so much a window as the shadow of a window on an Altar Tablet in the Stykkishólmur Kirkja( church) in Stykkishólmur, Iceland.
The artist is Kristín Gunnlaugsdóttir. Click here to hear and see an interview with her aired in 2011 on an Icelandic show named Kastljós. It is in Icelandic, but well worth a look for the images...and you can hear what my Mother language sounds like.

I keep making a promise to myself to post here more often. Every so often I shall just post a favorite picture or two.
This week a window that I spotted in Philadelphia, PA.
It belongs to this building...there is some kind of art going on in there. I was in a car and could not see what the sign said, it was blocked by a truck.
So perhaps I will show you my favorite windows or window scenes, on a Wednesday now and then.
